Kids 8 and under can enjoy plenty of Halloween fun at this year’s Lake Orion Boo Bash taking place on Friday, October 18. The evening includes hay-wagon rides, carnival games, crafts, and of course trick-or-treating! Pre-registration is required with admission being $10 for residents, and $12 for non-residents.
The Northville Community Center will play host to the city’s annual Trick or Treat Trail on Saturday, October 19. Festivities such as crafts, trick-or-treating, and a Haunted Hallway kick-off at 4 p.m. Admission is $8 per child with no on-site registration, so be sure to visit the Northville Parks and Rec website to register you and your family. Downtown Clawson will host its Trick or Treasure family event beginning at noon on Saturday, October 26. Your family can enjoy a trip through a decorated downtown, gathering treats from local businesses along with the Clawson Police and Fire Departments. All treats are allergy friendly and safe for all kids to enjoy. The Detroit Riverfront Conservancy will host the free HarvestFest Detroit along the Dequindre Cut Greenway near Eastern Market beginning at noon. Along with trick-or-treating, families can enjoy airbrush tattoos, inflatables, hayrides, live music and photo opportunities with their favorite princesses and superheroes. You can also bring nutritional non-perishable food items to help with the HarvestFest Food Drive. Downtown Ferndale Trick or Treat Night (10/26) Downtown Ferndale welcomes kids to come as ghosts, princesses, ninjas or other ghoulish creatures at their Trick or Treat Night on Saturday, October 26.
